Melanie Elvena is an arts producer, independent curator, community organizer, and sometimes artist living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. She serves as Artistic Director at Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center and Programs Manager at Asian American Women Artists Association. Melanie co-founded Hella Maarte Productions, a Bay Area arts production agency serving people of color, women, and LGBTQ+ communities for a hella equitable future. She received her B.A. in Art History from UC Irvine in Modern/Contemporary Art.
